The Law Firm of Grant, Konvalinka & Harrison P.C. (“GKH”) is proud to recognize the selection of one of their Directors, Brittany Thomas Faith, as a 2019 American Bar Association On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers in America. Ms. Faith’s selection is based on her dedication and tireless advocacy to her clients as part of her immigration practice.
The annual award “provides national recognition for 40 ABA young lawyer members who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership and legal and community service.” Honorees must be under the age of 36 and nominated by a peer or peers for their exemplary level work. The final honorees are selected via a panel of reputable lawyers across many practice areas. Selection for this prestigious award is an amazing accomplishment and a testament to Ms. Faith’s superb reputation as an outstanding lawyer and servant to the public.
What sets Ms. Faith into a class by herself is her tireless commitment to people; she always takes the time to let her clients, her colleagues, her family, and her friends know they mean something to her. It isn’t uncommon for her to drive to the other end of this very long state to lead an immigration pro bono clinic. Brittany demonstrates excellence and kindness in equal measure and embodies the humanity that seems to be so often left out of the practice of law.
Ms. Faith joined Grant, Konvalinka & Harrison, P.C.’s Immigration Practice Group in 2012. She was elected to be a Director of the firm at the end of 2018. Ms. Faith focuses her practice on immigration, including family-based petitions, employment-based petitions, and humanitarian relief. Ms. Faith also is currently serving as the Co-Chair of the ABA YLD Immigration and Naturalization Committee and as the Chair of the AILA’s Midsouth Chapter, which constitutes immigration attorneys in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. In addition, she has been active with the local young lawyers. Ms. Faith is the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers Division East Tennessee Governor and has led several immigration focused service projects. Ms. Faith also serves on the board of La Paz of Chattanooga, which has been the inspiration for many of her service projects.
Ms. Faith lives in Chattanooga with her husband, Justin, and son, Bennett. To learn more about Brittany Thomas Faith, please visit www.gkhpc.com.
